Produced by Melly Barajas, a female master distiller in Jalisco, Mexico, at her small distillery Vinos y Licoreras Azteca. The tequila is known for its traditional methods, including slow-cooked agave, natural fermentation, and double distillation in pot stills. It's aged for 8 months in old American oak barrels. This is a cult classic at our shop and across NYC! You know its good when she focuses on making this and no other expression (like blancos or cristalinos).
