Crocizia is a small winery that believes in natural, living, constantly evolving and unique wines. They work with what nature gives them, with the least possible intervention. They do not use additives, fining agents, stabilisers, yeasts or enzymes, and they do not filter the wines – it is pure wine. The vineyard is five hectares and is surrounded by woods, meadows and fruit trees. The soil is made up of lime and limestone, which gives the wines minerality and freshness. For around 50 years the land had not been cultivated or fertilized; this has favored an enrichment of both the organic and mineral parts of the soil.
